Is this the year you need a posture improvement program? Do you look in the mirror and wish the image you see was standing taller with better alignment? Do you have neck, back, or shoulder pain? It may be the result of your posture, body mechanics or even your workout.
You did not develop a poor posture overnight. A gradual step-by-step approach to regaining your optimal posture will ensure it lasts a lifetime.
Posture Program: Approach
Your Posture program starts with 10-sessions involving body work (myofascial massage, stretching and spinal mobilization) as well as targeted exercises for you to do between sessions.
Many people believe that they cannot change or improve their posture because of habits that have been developed over the years. Slouching, lack of exercise, inattention to their stance all contribute to poor alignment and posture. I have seen many people make great strides when they commit themselves to changing their posture. You can too.
You and I will work together on improving your posture at my Physiotherapy studio in Ottawa.

Why Work With Me?
When rebuilding your posture you need a little voice in your head that provides the constant reminder to modify how your sitting, how you stand, how you exercise. My clients have told me that I become their little voice.
After a few months, your body will automatically gravitate towards your new alignment. Until then, you need someone who will release areas of tightness that makes standing tall harder than it need be and provides the appropriate exercises to strengthen your postural muscles.
